I hope you are enjoying a lovely slide into sublime September. September is a time to savour and bid farewell to summer. As a 9 month in the western calendar system, it holds the vibration of 9 or completion energetically. In numerology, 9-9-18 translates to 9-9-9 as it is the ninth day of the ninth month and the 18th day of the 21st century can be translated to “9” …. 1+8=9. And so, it invites you to embrace endings. Completion is about honouring what you have finished, so that you can move on and up to the next level and step into what is new. It honors the rhythm and the cycle of life and so there are always endings within endings. Completion acknowledges the cumulation of your work. Sometimes we can be so busy in the day to day that we aren’t even aware something, a situation, a relationship, a project, is coming to a close and it may catch us by surprise. So we may need to pause to both recognize and absorb what is completing.
The angels often use the metaphor of being on an elevator for the process of completion. As the doors close and you select your floor, you notice that you are quite alone. This process, though, invites you to trust that you are in transition up to a higher floor. And this can be such a fertile time of ‘in between’. It is also natural for some human relationships to come to a close during this transition and for our connection with our angelic team to become quieter during this period as well. Often we may feel a sense of disconnection during this time.
Yes, this visualization is a metaphor–the ride up in the elevator signifies that your energetic vibration is raising or increasing. So this is all about your transformation. You simply can’t take everyone up with you as you are on an individual as well as collective journey. The same can be said for your angel connection. Sometimes people will ask me: “Where have all the angels gone?” If you are seasoned at connecting with your divine team and used to feeling, seeing, or hearing your light beings, guides, and mentors, know that they can step back at times as you transition. This is because their role is always to empower you to trust your own intuition and your own divine and inherent connection with God/Source.
That time of transition, of being in the elevator, is similar to cocooning or entering a chrysalis state. It is a time for you to come to know You, in the big picture sense, and to know that you are not only enough but you are everything. Everything is contained within you. If you are drawn to angels or divine messengers, know they want to empower you to connect inwards and upwards. Sometimes we give our power away in the process of our spiritual growth. And a true angel will always bring your awareness back to You. Their goal is to allow you to trust your direct connection with the divine.
So, if you find yourself in transition, embrace this time, the time of journeying inwards. Instead of descending into fear and doubt, which can move you down in the vibrational elevator for a time–so you go down a bit before you go back up–trust that you are on a beautiful journey. Take this time to go deeper to do energy healing and embrace your spiritual practice. To also let go of anything that isn’t serving you. This is also a time where you can set the intention to let go of toxicity in whatever way it has been showing up for you. When the doors open and you step off onto a new level, you will be greeted by your angels, new guides, and both old and new friends that resonate with your higher vibration.
And the answer to the question “Where Have All the Angels Gone?” is no where. If you need support, you only need to ask. But be open to the ‘how’ support and guidance show up. We often try to control the how, but it is about letting go of how angels reach out to you. Know that how you receive messages may also be evolving as you change. For example, if you notice angel numbers, such as 111, frequently in license plates, this may change. Numbers are a wonderful way to connect. But angels may also be reaching out to you in a different medium. They will also encourage you to use your psychic pathways as they open. So if your clairvoyance is developing, for example, they may send you messages clairvoyantly in the forums of pictures and symbols to encourage your growth. This may require more expansivity and trust on your part. So if you aren’t seeing the usual messages in the standard method expand your scope.
If you specify and request angelic help, know that it is always forthcoming. Angels never judge or refuse to help. However, if you find yourself not receiving an answer to a question in the usual methods, know that no answer IS an answer. Often, we are overlooking the answer ‘no.’ And one of the ways angels communicate is to re-enforce the positive, so if it’s a yes, you will get clear signs and if it is a no, you won’t get clear ‘yes’ signs. It’s ok to get a ‘no.’ Because the no is always for our highest good. If you are unsure, get a confirmation and check in with an angel practitioner or at an angel circle to get support. Sometimes our impatience for answers may also be misleading. Ask yourself if you are trying to force a certain outcome in a given situation? If so, take steps to get clear through meditation or your spiritual practice so you can move back into receptivity. Know that sometimes, it is important to be with a situation in order to glean and integrate the truth and that may require time to process and receive. So sometimes, the message isn’t instantaneous because we are close to discovering the truth and that process of awakening is important to what comes next. That may take time and angels may step back to allow you to reach your own conclusions. The angels call it divine time.
If you do find yourself on the elevator of transition in times of completion give yourself permission to feel, to trust, and to become. It is normal to feel uncertain. I love to call on the Butterfly Maiden, a lovely fairy angel, to wrap her wings around myself and loved ones in transition. To connect with the Butterfly Maiden is to connect to your inner beauty and the highest possibility in any situation.

Please help me to trust and have confidence that I am experiencing a sense of disconnection because I am on a path of transformation. Please allow me to be open to receive the highest guidance and give me loving signs of encouragement so I can emerge from this state fully empowered in divine time.”
